Expanding the Range of ALU-P-TURN VNGU Double-Sided Positive Inserts

Highlights

Following the successful introduction of the ALU-P-TURN inserts (NPA 23-2018) and high market demand, ISCAR is expanding the range of ALU-P-TURN VNGU inserts for the wheels industry with additional radii sizes of 1.2 and 1.6 mm.

ALU-P-TURN
Designed mainly for machining aluminum wheels. VNGU 2206..-R3N are 35° double-sided rhombic inserts with a very positive rake angle and sharp cutting edge.




Insert Features 3

• Extremely positive rake angle for low cutting forces and soft cut.
• Polished rake face to prevent built up edge.
• Designed mainly for machining aluminum wheels but can be used for cutting other non ferrous materials.
• The new inserts fit into existing ALU-P-TURN tools.
• Dedicated seats for each radius size will fully support the insert and will protect the tool in case of insert breakage. (The seats TVX 22... are available for insert radii 1.20 mm, 1.60 mm and 3.00 mm)
